In character and atmosphere, La Bonne Vie is essentially continental - clearly "à la française" but with a Bohemian raciness of style and charm. This is reflected in its bare-wood floors, candles and check table cloths. Around the walls hang a colourful assortment of French posters.
The bar is well stocked and contains an exceptional range of cocktails, imported lagers and fine wines. There is also a room at the back for intimate "tête à tête" dining or for larger parties. Cosmopolitan can best describe the menu; which finds appeal amongst a wide clientele.
Aptly named "The Good Life" this bistro is a place where you can sample the lunch menu or make a party of it in the evening with friends, with good food and wine, where soft lighting does much to enhance the ambience here, but there is a "je ne sais quoi" quality about this venue which makes it unusually attractive and convivial.
